Hi doctor. My baby girl is 1 year and 1 month old , can I start giving her cow milk ? She’s on formula till now. Also I’m scared whether she’ll fall sick or have any medical issues. Please advice

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Generally babies below one year can't digest animals milk (cow milk/buffalo/packet milk) so Paeditricians suggest not to give cow milk/buffalo milk until one year.
As baby is one year+ you can feed cow milk by mixing water in equal quantity (1:1) ratio give small quantity and check potty, if no motions, vomitings, allergy then you can continue giving milk and gradually decrease mixing water quantity in milk.
