Q.

Hi Doctor my baby girl is 1 month old .is it mandatory to breastfeed both sides one after the other in one session..?? if I don't breastfeed both sides in one session...baby doesn't get all nutrients or doesn't feel full ?? I breastfeed from one side in one session..and later from second side in next session.. is it fine to do like that ?? how exactly we should feed the baby to make her full and sleep for longer hours like 2 to 3hrs continuously.. my baby doesn't sleep for long .she simply wakes up for every 1 hr or 30mins..doesn't go into deep sleep..why it is like that ?

A. dear Mum at one session of breastfeeding you should feed from only one breast after emptying onr breast if required you may switch to the other side. at next session feed from the other breast feeding from one side ensures that baby gets fat rich hind milk which will keep baby full for longer
