Hi Doctor, My baby entered 4 months, whenever he drink milk it will come out and Saliva like bubbles, should I consult doctor. suffering from cold from past few days can you suggest any syrup Regards Bhargavi

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. that is very normal that small children after taking breastfeeding will regurgitate small amount of milk.
if the amount of milk is less than 10 ml no need to worry.
this curd like milk is normal and no treatment is required.
but if the quantity of milk is more than you have to rule out any gastric problem the child might be having.
you can decrease the the regurgitation by giving more burping time to the child.
also due to to to common pathway at the back between nasal cavity and the oral cavity the milk can come out through the nasal cavity also during the regurgitation and vomiting which is normal
meet your dr if vomiting is in large quantity and happening again and again

Teething Maybe happening with your child which is why your child is having this issue is very normal and common no medicine or anything else is required for this so you let it be as soon as your child will start having its teeth slowly gradually this thing will also come to an end as of now this would be considered hundred percent normal
