Q.
Hi doctor..my baby boy is 8 months and 22 days old and when I make him to sit,he is sitting without any support.but he is not sitting by his own or he is not even crawling..is there any problem in this ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 mgjonths usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
