Hi, doctor my baby boy is 6 day old, when we did check up he was 4 day old doctor told me my baby is suffering from jaundice(bilirubin total 10.5) (bilirubin direct 2.9) (bilirubin indirect 7.5) doctor is it serious condition? do we have to worry? his doctor gave him some medicine and ask us to keep him in sunlight, plz suggest me how can i care? and is it serious condition?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is newborn just 4 days ago he was diagnosed as neonatal jaundice so it’s very normal for any baby to have it please get his bilirubin done
