Q.
hi doctor my baby 16months old and she falldown from back side of head while walking , after I feed the baby she slept after wakeup she got fever I used paracetamol syrup fever is controlling now but while in fever the head is hot but hands legs are very normal in temparature why this happens?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like
severe headache or
excessive crying or
excessive vomiting or
abnormal movements or
lethargy or
seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination.
if none of above danger signs are presentd then you can follow wait and watch policy
for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swellingf on the head.
also apply ice locally.
