Q.
Hi doctor my 8 month old green loose stools for past 2 days. Doc gave zinc gulconate oral solution 1 ml at mor alone. I gave 1 ml last night to stop loose motion amd mistakenly gave another 1 ml today morning. will it cause any harm to the baby?

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where syhimptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infecgtion which needs antibiotics treatment

No I don’t think so since you given it into different days approximately the gap must have been like 12 hours so I don’t think so it is going to make any difference but still if you have any doubt about it and you consult your doctor ones to have a better clarity
