Standing and walking, an infant can bear some weight of his body with straight legs in the mother's lap by 4 months. From the age of 9 months, the baby makes early stepping movements when feet are placed on flat surface. At 10 months, hold near by furniture and start moving around. By 12 months can stand without support for few seconds. Around 13 to 15 months the child takes few steps in walking. After 15 months they can start moving with pull along toys. But keep one thing in mind, this is a general guideline. Every child achieve milestones at different age.
