Q.

Hi doctor, my 5 mo baby is taking BF after 4-5 hrs, taking 6-7 feeds in 24 hrs. Is this long gap fine? 6-7 feeds r enough?

A. during day time you need to feed after 2-3 hours but during night..some babies sleep for 6-8 hours..at that time..gap is normal.. make sure you are giving only breastfeed to the child

Some babies nurse more during growth spurts or when they do not feel well.
