Q.

HI doctor...my 4 month baby is sleeping continuously for 6 to 7 hrs during night ..and during day time he used to drink milk and play for 45mins to 1 hour and then sleep for 3 hrs..and this continues..is this normal?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 4 months old and if he is sleeping for long spells so don’t worry if he is taking breast feeding well at day time so

A. A typical 4-month-old should get between 12 and 17 hours of shut-eye a day, including nighttime sleep and three or four naps. Still, every baby's sleep needs are different and it's normal if your child snoozes a little more or less than that.
