hi doctor.. my 4.5 yr old has very frequent cough episodes that lasts for 10-15 days every month which started after going to school. Our paediatrician gave Macbery Levo syrup for him to help ease cough but whenever we use this syrup he gets lots of cough and vomits. Is this side effect of this syrup? should we discontinue using it?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. probably baby is having allergy better to treat with inhalers the baby bhfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
