hi doctor. my 3 yrs old son is having cold and fever for past 2 days. today morning he had loose stool and vomiting once. do we need to start antibiotics. please advise

you cannot give antibiotics without medical consultation.
also if it's viral infection or an allergy then there is no role of antibiotics.
all infection and illness doe not require antibiotics.
also dosage is given as per infection and type of disease. meet your dr for proper advice.

But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
