Hi Doctor, My 17th month daughter had vomitted 4 times last night. Now she is fine. Could you please guide me what to do in that situation in future. Kindly assist.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
do not give heavy diet for few days

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. Emset you can give as of now this is going to be helpful in controlling vomiting for the more you should connect with your doctor because it could be probably indigestion if the vomiting happens again then you have to have to check with your doctor
