Hi doctor mera beta 4 year ka h usko last 6 days se cold cough and fever h doctor ko dikhaya or 3 days ka injection bhi lage or frk pad gaya kal pura din acha rha or sham se wps khasi zukham strt ho gaya or rat ko fever or aj subha to vomit kar li 4 bar womit bhi sirf pani wali please suggest kijiye kya kru

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with hfanti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
