Q.

hi doctor iam 8 week pregnant.in scan they mentioned minimal free fluid p.o.d vol-5cc what does it indicates? it's good or bad .it is good for baby?

A. hello dear parents do not worry about the free fluid in the pouch of Douglas as it can be due to any inflammation or infection in the tubes are are abdomen please do not worry about it and it won't affect the baby

A. Hello..Menstrual blood that has refluxed through the fallopian tubes and fluids related to ovulation or ruptured cysts settle in it. Likewise, blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, inflammatory debris from a pelvic or appendiceal infection and ascites due to malignancy, liver or cardiac failure may collect here
