A. Well-cooked and pureed meat, poultry or beans.Ground, cooked, single-grain cereal or infant cereal with breast milk or formula.Cooked and pureed vegetables.Mashed banana or avocado.Fruits: Apple, Avocado, Banana, Pears, muskmelon, Peaches, Plums, Prune.Vegetables: Carrot, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato.Cereals & Grains: Rice, Ragi, Barley, Semolina/Suji/Rava, sabudhana/Sago/Tapioca, Ragira/Amaranth/Phool Makhana, Quinoa.Pulses: Yellow Moong Dal.At six months offer purées. At seven to nine months try mashed or minced food, (not purées) and be sure to include some lumps. Use a fork to mash foods and not a blender so that the texture is more lumpy. You can also start on finger foods after seven months.
