hi doctor I want to know what is hypotonia and difference between hypotonia n low muscle tone.. my son is 10 months old..he was good at his 6 months but now a days he is having low muscle tone..gone through mri scan doctor said no worries n no problem is there in mri scan report.. but y he is having low muscle tone..whether it is hypotonia..if it is hypotonia it will be cured??

Pallavi SusarlaMom of a 4 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. my 10 month son had a same problem.. hypotonia. and his mri scan reports are also normal.. so dont worry.. we will do physiotherapy when my baby was 6 month old.. he is doing good now... but it will take time u should have patient and faith in God and ur baby.. he will do.. but not like a normal baby his all development skills will be delay.. u should also start physiotherapy.. consult your pediatrician he will guide you.

Hi See an expert who specialises in this field only can give you a clarity about this issue nobody else can so it’s better that you go ahead with your doctor as to whatever they are saying and if you have any kind of doubt relating to it then also you should consult your doctor to give you a clarification for that
