hi doctor.. I've a 3weeks old baby boy.. he doesn't burp sometimes. I try several times tapping on his back trying to make him burp after breast feeding. but doesn't burp. is it okay to put him to sleep if he doesn't burp at times. ?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is newborn just 3 weeks old and he doesn’t burp even after repeated attempts so don’t worry let him go to sleep as it is nothing is serious

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the baby is 3 weeks old should give exclusive breastfeeding to the baby with proper burping and after every feeding we should give at least 20 minutes burping to the child
