hi Doctor, I took Avil 25 due to severe itching in body every night since past 3 weeks. is it safe during breastfeeding. I have observed some red rashes on my son's face today. Quite wotried

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician7 years agoA. I would not suggest yiu to have such types of medication as you are a breast feeding mother so I would suggest you to consult with your treating physician to have a detailed physical examination of yours and relevant treatment accordingly if needed

SantoMom of a 8 yr 7 m old girl7 years agoA. When your breastfeeding you should avoid self medication. I feel and suggest It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
