Q.

hi doctor I'm 29yrs old.3 months back I went through thyroid test. My tsh is 6.1 and t3 1.04 and 10.28 doc prescribed thyroxine for one month.Later I got covid.so I continued thyroxine.Last week I went for a thyroid test again the test results are like this tsh 1.9 t3 98.7 t4 11.8 should I stop taking thyroxine rcontinue ? If I stop taking thyroxine again will I gain weight?please guide me.

A. Hello Ideally you should not stop the thyroxine medicines Best is to consult the endocrinologist & get his opinion on the dosage Do not self start or stop the medicines, it can affect your health inna bad way
