Hi doctor, I have varginally delivered baby boy on april...i got my periods yesterday..my boy is only 2 months old but am feeding milk properly also he gained weight as well...is that normal to get periods within 2 months after delivery... I heard that till 6months many womens will not get their periods.. please help to advise whether it normal or bad

A. hello dear yes it is absolutely normal and there is nothing to worry It all happens due to hormonal changes in the body continue breastfeeding the baby exclusively for the initial 6 months and as a breastfeeding mother have lots of fluid and fibre in your diet
