Q.

Hi doctor I have one month 4 days old baby boy . He has jaundice when he born and kept in box .jaundice keep on reducing and increasing. 15days back we have taken blood test and urine test and reports got normal also doctor said not to worry and told to keep in sunlight. Now baby still has yellow eyes and it’s rainy season there is no sunlight to keep the baby . What should I do in this situation? It’s been a month since baby has yellow eyes also please tell what food should i(mother) take to reduce jaundice on baby .

A. Nothing to worry about, you can just give sunlight whenever possible. And other time give proper breastfeeding which helps maintain proper hydration and good health of the baby and have regular Follow-up with your doctor to know about the bilirubin level.
