Q.

hi doctor I am a mother of 4.5 month old babby girl I just wanted to know what food should I start first and now .. actually she on mix feed ie breastfeed and nanpro .I tried ragi but she started coughing on the next day so jst want to b sure is it becz of ragi or what and I have to resume offce nxt month so wanted to start slowly with food for her . please suggest what should be given and how much

A. hi dear Newborn babies should breastfeed 8–12 times per day for about the first month. Breast milk is easily digested, so newborns are hungry often. Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day.
