purées of vegetables such as carrots (gajar), pumpkin (kaddu), potato (aloo), peas (matar), sweet potato (shakarkandi), sponge gourd (tori), ash gourd (petha kaddu), broccoli (hari gobhi) or cauliflower (gobhi)fruit purée, such as ripe cooked apple (seb), stewed pear (nashpati), mango (aam) or papaya (papita) or mashed fruit such as ripe avocado (makkanphal) or banana (kela), muskmelon (kharbooja), watermelon (tarbooj) or sapota (cheeku)age-appropriate baby cereals, such as iron-fortified baby rice or cereal mixed with your baby's usual milk
