Hi Doctor, Good Morning. have a nice day... I am having fever since yesterday Night. i checked it's 101 temp. I am having 12months old baby. Can I breast feed him directly or i need to stop untill fever get reduce. Thanks Saranya Kannappan

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. you can continue with breast feeding your baby. not an issue. If you need to take antibiotics or other medicine, just check with your doctor first.
it’s still important to make sure you wash your hands often, avoid coughing or sneezing near your baby

If your baby is 6 to 24 months old and has a temperature higher than 102 F (38.9 C) that lasts longer than one day but shows no other signs or symptoms, contact the doctor. If your baby also has other signs or symptoms — such as a cold, cough or diarrhea — you might contact the doctor sooner based on their severity.
