Q.
hi doctor ,good afternoon...my baby sleeping on night time rest of the time he is playing ..he just 2 months 14 days old baby is it sufficient sleep or not ,in my knowledge new born babies sleep atleast 14 hours but my baby is not sleeping that much ..am worried about my baby sleep please tell what should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. sleep will be taken according to the need of the child so if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleexping pattern and sleep hours and it will obviously change from time to time and thsen stabilize.
if overall the child is play full and is well responding then do not worry about the hours of slee and the will not have any problem.
(pleaxse note if sleep is inadequate then growth will not be proper so if growth is proper then no need to worry about sleep)
