Hi Doctor Can you recommend medicine for cold and cough... presently Alkof syrup is given to my 6 yrs child...is antibiotic necessary?

A. it is not advisable to take antibiotics medicines more than 2 to 3 days moreover antibiotics should never be taken without proper examination by the doctor please see your local doctor
