Hi doctor Can we give lose motion medicine to a 5 month old ? If yes then which medicine to give ? And also when does teething happen in children ?

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where sygumptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high gradhe fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Give your baby breastmilk more often.
Also, give extra fluid if breast milk isn't keeping up with the fluid losses. You can use formula or ORS (Pedialyte).
Solid foods: If on baby foods, continue them. Cereals are best.
