Q.
hi doctor Baby is having loose motion and too much sound in stomach. very bad smell in potti. Please advice what to do..

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where syhdemptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. kindly give ors(oral rehydration solution) for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor.
also you cannot give outside milk and cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days.
avoid giving swzeet sugary food as well as maida and biscuits, chocolate, icecream, packet foods cerelac.
other food which can be given are
poha daliya upma mamra idli.
give sachet econorm twice daily for 3days
