Hi doctor As my baby was having cold and cough and doctor prescribed cefitaxe 100mg and i gave her for 2 days and unexpectedly the syrup got broken and again doctor gave cefitaxe 50mg can i give her their won't be any problem And cefitaxe 100mg doctor told to give 2.5ml and cefitaxe 50mg 5ml their won't be having problem by giving 5ml Please help me out I'm worried As doctor prescribed I'm giving

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs t cfreatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
