Q.

hi docter my daughter is suffering from high fever since midnight. we gave 3 doses of fepanil 250 mg 3ml but fever is not reducing. Can we give a dose of ibuprofen 100mg and check?

A. No Ma’am you cannot keep changing the medicines like this it’s unhealthy for the system of the child if the fever hasn’t come down at all despite of giving continuous medicine you can connect with your doctor but the fever stays for sometime it is meant to reduce completely by the time of 72 hours and you’ve given only three doses so if you want to continue with the medicine that you were giving or check with the doctor first

A. you must visit a well educated Doctor for your child support to remove their sickness. and i think change your baby's medicine for better treatment and so on.

A. Then you should consult your doctor we don’t recommend you to change the medicine like this and you are supposed to give medicine every six hours of fever is meant to reduce within 72 hours and wipe of completely along with that you should do cold sponge if you want to reduce the temperature and consult the doctor
