Q.

hi doct... my daughter got the first dose of chickenpox vaccination in December 2023.when she was 15 months old. plz tell me about age for the second dose with the same vaccine. now she is. two years old.

A. can give anytime after 3 months of 1st dose so can give now chicken pox vaccine is given (first dose) after completion of 15 months of age and the second dosage can be taken anytime after 3 months of the first dosage. also chicken pox vaccine can be given at any age to the child so if you have missed the vaccine earlier then you can give now also and the doctor will tell you what would be the spacing between first dosage and the second dosage

A. The first dose of varicella vaccine for chicken pox is given at 12-15 months. The booster dose is given at 4 -6 years.

A. Hello dear parent! Can be given after 3 months after first dose. Consult your doctor for further assistance in this regard. Get all the vaccines on time as mentioned in the vaccine schedule. Good luck and take care
