Q.

Hi Doc.! My baby has got fever recently. I took him to his ped, who asked to do a blood test. in test reports, we've got CRP 7.7..he told us that baby has minor infection but I'm nervous as baby's fever is coming on and off..what is CRP actually?? is it normal or shall we take him to hospital again!??

A. crp os c reactive protien that indicate the cronic infection. as his value is 7.7 that can say a minor infection. do continue medication n follow your doctor advice.
