Q.

Hi doc can we give basil leaf essence for 3month old as a cold medicine. And she has slight fever 37c, can we give paracetamol for fever. Pls advise.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she is having a cold so if you want to give her only smells of tulshi plant then it’s okay and don’t give paracetamol for 37 degrees temperature

A. you can give paracetamol for fever but do not give anything else except breast milk to the child orally. for cold you can give nasal saline drops as well as indirect steam inhalation
