ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. It would be good to avoid.. This is because honey can, very occasionally, contain spores of a bacterium..called clostridium botulinum. This can cause a rare form of food poisoning know as( botulism) in babies.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. They also can contaminate some foods — honey, in particular. Infant botulism can cause muscle weakness, with signs like poor sucking, a weak cry, constipation, and decreased muscle tone (floppiness).
