hi. can I give ajwain water to my 5 month old baby. she is completely in formula feed

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. No.. You can introduce ajwain water to infants from 8 months onwards. Continue with fiormula milk only . if your baby is feeling some discomfort.. apply Hing paste around navel and do cyclic exercise of legs.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. You can wait until six months. Generally Any liquids or semisolids or Solids are advisable only after six months. Until then exclusive breastfeeding or formula alone is good for baby (not even water) as their digestive system will be still sensitive and immature. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months.
