Q.

hi.. birth weight of my 6weeks old baby was 3.2 kg now it is 3.9 kg. is it OK?

A. initially babies lose their weight...soon they will regain..if you think your baby is underweight breastfeed her very often and also give more hind milk (thicker part)...

A. BM is not sufficient so I have to give her FM

A. fr weight gain pls ensure dat ur supply is gud...nd so pls breastfeed her more on one breast before switching to other as to give her the more nutricious nd richer milk...also maintain hygiene and cleanliness around the baby...my doctor advised me dat only mother or father shud come in contact wid baby more often to reduce the risk of infections which often result in weight loss.

A. actually we went to Dr. today.. she said weight is not ok, but I wanted to knw other people's answer.

A. Hello dear Don't calculate like this way..you won't see any change.. wenever you will visit a pediatrician he will plot a growth chart and just observe that and check weight at that time..
