Q.

Hi, baby was on NaN Pro 1 formula milk and started experiencing severe colic pain, we went to doctor who suggested Similac Total comfort, but issue remains same. Also baby is sleeping very less due to discomfort. We have been giving colic aid / bonison and also applying hing on stomach, but discomfort remains. Please suggest

A. probably your child is suffering from some gas problems so you can use a oral drops containing dil oil fennel oil like colicaid or gastica drops for your child as these are carminative mixture and helps in expulsion of gas from the abdomen and will soothe your child

A. Dear mom, please be informed that there is no study as of now as to why babies get colic and usually what we as parents can do is give as much comfort to the babies as we can and do all the things the right way like feeding the baby in upright position , giving burp after every feed, giving tummy time , as a mother eat healthy and non spicy food. Also , you may apply hot compress on the stomach etc . In addition , its just a phase it usually goes away after some time. we need to keep lot of patience .

A. hello..try to exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months if FM is listed for other reason and baby as colic try changing the brand if formulamilk and see if your baby will be...colic can be there in babies
