Both Are good both are painful also you even if you use numbing cream at a point of time your child may not feel it exactly that time but later the child is going to feel it but this is a lot of people are preferring the gunshot piercing if you want you can go ahead with that and additional is also equally good and safe so you decide which one do you want to go for I can only advise you to use a numbing cream in either of the cases
