Q.

Hi, Attached is the picture of my bubs belly button. is this called umbilical hernia? should I be consulting a pediatrician for treating this? please suggest. Thanks!

A. Hello, your baby boy is newborn just 30 days old and he is having a puffy umbilicus and it is called as a umbilical hernia only but it’s not a serious problem,it will fade-away as he grows up.and don’t make him cry.

A. Thanks for the response Doctor. looks like his belly button has become more puffy as compared to previous picture. Does it still increase? should I be consulting pediatrician soon?
