Helloooo dear... # 2cups of idly rava # 1cup of urad dal sock these both separetly for 3 to 4 hrs. dn remove d water fm urad dal nd grind it very soft past(if require add very little amount of water. aftr dt separate d water fm rava too,it s some wt difficult bt u can do ths.make sure dnt live any water in it. dn mix ths rava with urad dal paste.add pinch of salt in it n mix well,close d lid.n keep it a side for fermentation upto 7 to 10 hrs. after d fermentation ur batter vl more dn double n volum.now mix d batter.adjust d salt.now u can make idly with ths.no need of soda r baking powder. l

Hello dear ingredients for rava idli 1 cup rava (sooji or semolina or cream of wheat) ½ cup dahi - fresh or sour (yogurt or dahi) 1 generous pinch baking soda.. 2.5 to 3 tablespoon water or more - add accordingly and as required to get a medium consistency batter - which is neither thick nor thin. steaming rava idli: heat water in a steamer, electric cooker or pressure cooker. just before steaming, add baking soda in the batter and mix well. pour the rava idli batter in greased idli moulds. place the idli stand in the electric cooker, steamer or pressure cooker. steam the rava idlis for 10-12 minutes or more till a tooth pick inserted in the idlis come out clean. remove the instant rava idlis from the mould and serve..
