Q.
Hi.. Am 8 weeks pregnant and my doctor suggested aspirin 75mg to me along with prenatal vitamins and iron tablets.... When I ask her why aspirin she got angry instead of giving me answer... I don't know why aspirin a blood thinner used in pregnancy.. Anybody prescribed aspirin in their pregnancys if yes why it is prescribed please let me know

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. well if there is history of abortion or any HT we give aspirin. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you
