Q.
Hi all, I have viral fever and cough. My son (5months old) too having cough and fever. We are giving phenylephrine hyochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate drops and Ambroxol hydrochloride drops as per doctor suggestion. I have observed that he is sleeping a lot after taking medications. Is that normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As theju first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would behu helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
