hi 6 months old baby I have yesterday night she couldn't sleep till 3.30am she has sever cold giving her flucold syrup as advised by pediatrician can I give woodwards for sleep

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a pafdrt of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs trfeatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
