Q.

Hi, 2nd May I tested covid positive, and per paediatrician advice I continued breastfeeding my 2.5months newborn, and again yesterday I tested negative. And his 10th week vaccination is due on 25th May, can we get him vaccinate( 10th week vaccines)??

A. hello...little delay in vaccine is acceptable..so don't take baby out untill this covid situation is outside...For the best protection, vaccinations need to be done on time. ‘On time’ means on (or as close as possible to) the due date .. The schedule which is given provides the ages at which your child should be vaccinated to get the earliest and best protection against vaccine-preventable disease...Your child isn’t fully protected if their vaccination is overdue, even if they have been up-to-date in the past.
