Q.

Hi, 2 weeks back i had a scan which shows 6 weeks 0 days gestation but 2 days back its showing 6 weeks 4 days gestation. how is it possible or there is a problem in growth, am confused?

A. Hi, the scan may have shown the embryonic age of the baby which is considered from the day of conception which differs because of the difference in the ovulation time. It can be different from the age estimated by LMP. As per the growth of the foetus which they measure by measuring CRL basically from head to toe the size of the baby they estimate it so. Yours is just some days difference discussing with your doctor about any changes needed can give you a clear idea of what to do next.In most of the cases it is just fine and really common.
