Hey doctor My baby is 5 months 16 days old he was having cough my pediatrician has suggest me to give asthakind and nova mox each 0.6 ml every 3 times a day but today afternoon I accidentally given my baby novamox 2.5ml. Is this serious or please suggest anything

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that the child might have vomiting. it will be single episode andx then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry.
it is important that xin the future you should give proper quantity to the child in case of medicines
