Hey doc I m new mommy my breastfeeding journey so painfully my nipple is swollen and painfull plz give solution ??

A. Having cracked Nipples you should use nipple shield for breastfeeding for a few days You can apply himalaya nipple care cream or homemade ghee, Which will help Heal the cracks. give feeding only 2 hourly to the baby and not before that

A. I also have cracked nipples at first apply ghee or your breast milk itself for healing the wound my doctor also gave me nipple cream but it doesn't work as much as natural ways and also use nipple shield for few days to reduce pain I use pigeon nipple shield which is very soft so that baby can suck easily without pain

Q. #asktheexperts my baby is 10 days old.. since the day one, my breast are really sore, cracked and it's really painfull while breastfeeding. so i used nipple shield and my baby is sucking also and getting milk.. can I use this shield permanently for the entire breastfeeding journey? and will that cause any problem for my baby or stimulation of milk??
