Q.

hello...we have got this routine stool test done as we could see mucus in the stool. this is second time we have done & first report was also same..we were advised to get the culture stool test done & the report are normal mentioning NO GROWTH....earlier we were giving Taximo for infection for 5 days...then we discontinued it. now after culture report aur paediatric has advised us to let it be & not to give any medicine...bt I can still find mucus in the stool...bit confuse on this...pls advise

A. this means that the child is not having any type of infection and the mucus is just a part of growth so do not worry about it and try to give only easily digestible food and with time it should improve

A. Hello dear parent! Just complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments. Give your baby 3 meals and water along with daily breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
