Q.

Hello Sir, Sir my child diagnosed with calcium oxalate crystals in his urine along with pus cells and bacteria. When sonogram is done doctor found bilateral kidney stones of approx 7 mm in size. I am now so much worried about my child. Kindly suggest some treatments.

A. Thank you sir for your kind response. But we parent are in shock to know about how a 14 month child can get a such big size kidney stones if he feeds only on mother feed.

A. Foods high in oxalate include: Beans. Beer. Beets. Berries. Chocolate. Coffee. Cranberries. Dark green vegetables, such as spinach.

A. there is no specific treatment and you will have to avoid the food which is causing such problem in your child. all so it is advisable to make the child drink plenty of water which will help in flushing the oxalate crystals and remain in contact with your doctor
